Working at Lyons Elementary is such a dream. I have been part of the Lyons school community for 15 years and this will be my 17th year of teaching. I received my B.S. in Special Education from Bloomsburg University, Pa and my M.A. in Literacy from the University of Northern Colorado. I have a variety of experiences working with behavior day treatment students, learning disabled, autism spectrum, and multiple physical disabilities.
My husband Daniel and I enjoyed being part of the Lyons community for 10 years and hope someday to call it home again. We have 2 daughters Aaliyah, a first grader at Lyons and our one year old Riyah, who keeps us on our toes. I enjoy hiking with our dog Lupine, gardening, and spending time our daughters.
