Parent Teacher Conferences - Sign Up Now!

Winter Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for January 28th, January 29th and February 6th.  An additional short session will be offered to 5th grade parents on February 4th to allow for the "Hello 6th Grade" presentation at the Lyons M/S on January 29th.  An email with a student specific sign up was sent last week.  If you have not received this email from Conference Night, please contact the Office for a resend of the invitation or or assistance scheduling your conference.

Celebrate Chinese New Year at Silver Creek High School, February 8

The Asian Pacific Association of Longmont, Silver Creek Leadership Academy and the St. Vrain Valley School District are excited to host the 10th Anniversary Chinese New Year Celebration at Silver Creek High School on February 8, 2020 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. This zero waste event is free and open to the public and will include cultural performances, hands-on activity booths, and Chinese food samplings.

Early access to kindergarten and first grade | Join our informational meeting on January 8

St. Vrain Valley School Schools offers access to early enrollment for highly advanced gifted children under the age of 6.
A parent meeting to provide information regarding the early access process and characteristics of young gifted children is set for 5 to 6 p.m. Jan.

The Innovation Center of St. Vrain Valley Schools is hosting its first-ever Community STEM Night event from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 13. Pre-K through fifth grade students and families are invited to participate in hands-on STEM activities, tours, and fun.

LES garden thanks LCF for continued support....

The LES garden and students continue to learn, grow and thrive with garden beds, square foot beds, bee's and more.  This could not happen without the continued support of the Lyons Community Foundation who has been granting support to our programming for many years.  Because of the LCF, we are able to grow food that is donated to LEAF our local food pantry feeding more than 43 Lyons families each week, in addition to providing Science and Leadership activities, at all grade levels, each month.

Winter Concert for 1st and 3rd grades

The Winter Concert "Rock'n Winter" for 1st and 3rd grades will be at 6:30 pm on December 10th in the LES gym.  Students are asked to wear Holiday atire and arrive no later than 6:15 pm.

Next up on March 12th, the 2nd and 4th grades will perform "Woodstock 2020".  5th graders will perform on April 28th.
