I love being a part of the Lyons community and our wonderful Lyons Elementary School. I have taught in Lyons for 13 years and have been a teacher of a variety of grade levels for 23 years! During my time as an educator I have taught all grades 1st through 8th grade, taught as a Gifted/Talented teacher, math specialist, and differentiation coach for our school district. I truly love 2nd graders and have taught in this grade level for many years.
I was raised in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York State. I hold a BA from Dickinson College and an MA from University of Colorado, Boulder. My husband, Steve, and I moved to Colorado for graduate school and could never leave it. I have lived in the Lyons community for 18 years. My children are Georgia and Henry. They have loved growing up in Lyons. I enjoy spending my free time hiking, skiing, traveling, reading, and having fun adventures with family and friends.I am very excited to teach at Lyons Elementary again this year!
