I am very excited to be part of Lyon’s Elementary School! I joined the Lyon's family  and in 2012 and this will be my 3rd year of teaching fourth grade at LES.  Before that, I  taught 17 years at Byrom Elementary in Tualatin, Oregon.  Most of those 17 years I taught fourth grade.    I love Oregon, but I love Colorado too and have had such fun exploring all this incredible state has to offer. I  live in Nederland with my husband and two of my children.  My husband is the caretaker for Barker Reservoir - that is why I live so far away... but I actually like my commute. (except when it snows!)  I have a 23 year old son named Zach who just graduated college, a 20 year old daughter named Marina, and a 16 year old daughter named Sierra.  My husband’s name is Eric and to complete our family we have a German Shepard/Akita dog named her Farrah and an Australian Shepard/Pitbul puppy name Mille.  We adopted both Farrah and Millie from the Boulder Human Society.  We like to spend time doing outside activities.  When I’m not busy teaching or spending time outside with my family, I  like to digital scrapbook, surf on pinterest and visit new places.   I am really looking forward to this year and getting to know everyone and all of the learning and memories that are going to happen in our classroom/school!
