5th grade students got a chance to work with Colorado Trout Unlimited to regulate the ongoing river population following the flood and flood recovery plan. Trout Unlimited staff place equipment in the river to gather samples to be weighed and monitored. Students got a first hand chance to see, feel and work with the samples. This will be an ongoing partnership as part of the LES Science and Leadership Programing.
