For the love of math! and Art!
Next up in our Artist in Residence line up is Camila Friedman-Gerlicz is a Professor at CU Boulder. She loves math! and art and patterns and shapes…. LES students were presented with her journey as she has learned to take her loves and blend them together into math created art work, pottery, dinnerware, shelving, chairs and more. We would love to see her kitchen! 1st graders were treated to a special presentation with Camila, creating their own individual squares to create larger group patterns. We are hoping to bring Camila back into our Art Room for more fun with clay- stay tuned.
