COLLECTION DATE EXTENDED! We will be collecting donations through December 16th!
LEAF in partnership with Lyons Elementary School
& Higher Ground Ministry
Why do we host an annual Holiday Food Drive?
Quite simply, we need to support others in our Lyons community.
● 15% of Lyons residents are living in poverty
● 1 in 8 Coloradans struggle with hunger
● 39% said they must choose between paying for a meal or paying rent
What is LEAF ?
It’s stands for Lyons Emergency Assistance Fund
● LEAF supports an average of 35-40 households a week at the food bank ● The COVID pandemic has increased the households that need our help!
What can we do?
We can fill this BROWN bag with non-perishable (non-expired) food items. Then, bring it back to school the next week on these dates!
Monday, November 30th and continuing through Thursday, December 10th Leave donations in the blue wagons near the front door of school.
