5th grade Lyons Eco Club/Garden Club students picked the first harvest in the LES Garden today. The garden got a late start with planting last spring but has come on strong. This year seedlings were raised from seeds collected from last season’s fruit- making the full circle for the first time. All harvests are donated to the Lyons Food Bank. Hundreds of pounds of produce are donated by LES each year. The LES Garden is funded by the LCF grant program and the hard work of volunteers and students.
