Sarah Wegert takes on the role of our PreK-5th grade STEM Lab Teacher and STEM Coordinator. With two decades of experience as a teacher, technologist, STEM Coordinator, and instructional coach, she is exceptionally equipped to guide our students through continuous lab-based experiences that align with our STEM Focus on Environmental Leadership. Her talent for creating innovative programming, rooted in standards and driven by student input, is truly remarkable.

A key aspect of Sarah's career has been the enhancement and acceleration of the Science and Leadership program for K-12 students in the Lyons feeder schools.

Reflecting on her work, Sarah expressed, “I learn so much from students every day. The most rewarding part of this job is watching them grow into confident problem-solvers who see themselves as contributors to the world around them. It’s inspiring to see them realize they have the power to make a difference.”
