I grew up in the northeast (I'm a Jersey Girl!) and attended college in the Hudson Valley area of New York state. I did my graduate work at the University of Northern Colorado where I earned a master's degree in earth sciences. I have taught for 20 years. This will be my 18th year at Lyons Elementary School. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade.

Lyons has been my home since 2002 and I have two grown “kids.” I love to travel, and spend a lot of time in my yard and garden along with exploring RMNP or other mountain areas. In the winter I enjoy skiing and snowshoeing with my friends and kids. My dogs, Frankie, Will, and Bruce, are a major part of our family and we all love to play with them. I love to make meals for family and friends, work in my yard, read and take photographs. I have recently started learning ceramics and I’m having fun “playing with clay.”
