Ms. Lundell: I grew up in the northeast (I'm a Jersey Girl!) and attended college in the Hudson Valley area of New York state. I did my graduate work at the University of Northern Colorado where I earned a master's degree in earth sciences. I have taught for 17 years. This will be my 15th year at Lyons Elementary School. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade.
Lyons has been my home for 20 years now and I have two grown “kids.” My daughter, Sophia, is 22 years old. She attends college in Steamboat, CO along with teaching skiing and downhill mountain biking. My son, Quinn, is 20 and he works at Winter Park Resort. I love to be outdoors and spend a lot of time in my yard and garden along with exploring RMNP or other mountain areas. Bike riding with friends is one of my favorite activities. In the winter I enjoy skiing and snowshoeing with my friends and kids. My dogs, Frankie and Will, are a major part of our family and we all love to play with them. I love to make meals for family and friends, work in my yard, read and take photographs.
