Wildflower Remembrance Garden……

Inspired by a remembrance garden at the Tower of London, Art Teacher, Elena Russ created a plan for Lyons Elementary School.  With the assistance of PTO and volunteers, Mrs. Russ worked with students to create 240 ceramic flowers in art class.  Students then “planted” the flowers as to commemorate the lives lost to the COVID-19 pandemic and the work of frontline workers.   This beautiful garden will light up the smiles and faces of Lyons students, families and visitors for years to come.
