Preschool learns about Fire Safety

Keeping children safe is an important part of being a preschool educator. Young children need your help to understand the dangers of fire and how to respond. With October being National Fire Safety Month, our Preschool Teacher, Donna Evans organized a few events for our students.

The Lyons Elementary School Preschoolers recently took a walking field trip to the Lyons Fire Station to check out the cool firetrucks and talk with our local Fire Chief. Additionally, Fireman and parent, Jeff Wegert came in to do a Fire Safety presentation. Luckily, Principal Moore was at the ready to demonstrate the fire suit!

ParentSquare: Our New District Communication Tool
