Greetings Mountain Lyons — Happy Thursday!
A big shout out to our elementary and high school students for wrapping up our final Late Start Day with energy, focus, and leadership. We are proud of the way our students continue to show up and shine!
I am excited to invite families to our Technology Night next Thursday at 6:00 PM in the library. This session will highlight the digital tools we use at school, offer tips for managing devices at home, and share how we promote digital citizenship throughout the year. There will be time for questions and discussion, so we hope you’ll join us!
As we near the end of the school year, please take note of the many important upcoming events. On the last day of school, we’ll celebrate with our All-School Slideshow and 5th Grade Continuation—two beloved traditions that honor our students and their growth. And during New Games Day, we’ll unveil this year’s Artist in Residence mural—a science-inspired installation created under the guidance of Mrs. Russ. A huge thank you to her for leading such a meaningful project!
Finally, a heartfelt thanks to all who supported our 5th grade Shakespeare performance this week. The students did an incredible job bringing the Bard’s work to life, and we’re looking forward to their encore “Shakespeare in the Park” performance tomorrow. Bravo to our young actors!
As always, thank you for sharing such kind, curious, and creative children with us each day.
Warm regards,
Principal Moore
