Greetings Mountain Lyons!

I hope you’re having a great week! The great weather has been perfect for outdoor learning. Classes have been heading down to Johnson Park to study macro invertebrates in the river and explore native vs. non-native plant species. Our 2nd graders also made a big impact—donating over 201 pounds of produce from our garden to the LEAF foodbank!

Parents of 1st–5th graders are invited to join us tomorrow morning on the upper playground as we celebrate our recent State and National Awards for student growth and achievement. It will be a short and sweet, wrapping up by 8:20.

A quick reminder—Coffee with the Principal is coming up on Wednesday, October 1 from 8:15–9:00 in the school library. I’ll update everyone with a content preview in upcoming Thursday Announcements.

Thanks as always for your support, and have a wonderful rest of the week!

Yours in education,
Principal Moore
