Hello Mountain Lions!
It’s Kindness Month here at Lyons Elementary School! Each day, we encourage our students and teachers to perform acts of kindness. For example, yesterday’s challenge was to “Compliment a friend at school today.” This week, we are also focusing on self-reflection of our individual strengths. Students are prompted to consider and share their thoughts on the following:
- “I am good at…”
- “I do my best work when…”
- “I feel listened to when…”
By fostering kindness and self-awareness, we aim to boost our students’ confidence and cultivate a caring community. LES is truly a fantastic place to spend each day!
Safety!
As we continue to refine our drop off and pick up procedures, in collaboration with our local law enforcement, we have two important requests of you:
- Please only park in the handicap spots if you are handicapped.
- Please make sure you come to a full stop, and proceed carefully at the corner of High Street and 4th Avenue.
Thank you parents!
We are thrilled with the turnout at our recent Parent Teacher Conferences. It is our priority to provide clear insights into your child’s school experience, and we greatly appreciate your invaluable feedback. Together, we strive to support your child’s development. Thanks to your involvement, we are nearing 100% participation in this winter’s conferences!
